Outage Monitor: Power Station ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). The short version: everything the App reads stays on your iPhone. We collect nothing, and there is no account.
1. Bluetooth and your power station
With your permission, the App connects over Bluetooth to the power stations you add and reads their status: battery level, power in and out, output states, temperature and fault codes. It sets itself up from the station's own Bluetooth signal and stores the resulting pairing details in your iPhone's Keychain. It uses Bluetooth in the background only to keep reading your station so it can alert you while your phone is locked.
2. Data stored on your device
- Stations: the model, the last four characters of the serial number, the name you give it and its capacity.
- History: readings at most once a minute while connected (kept for 90 days) and a log of outages.
- Preferences: alert settings and whether Pro is active.
- Widgets: the latest reading of your selected station is shared with the App's own widgets on your device.
None of it leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share it, for example with CSV export or the protocol-probe recording. Deleting the App deletes all of it.
3. Notifications and the lock screen
Alerts are local notifications created on your iPhone, and the lock-screen Live Activity is updated by the App on your iPhone. No push service is involved.
4. No analytics, no trackers, no network
The App contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters or third-party trackers, shows no ads, and makes no network requests of its own. We operate no servers that hold user data. We don't track your location.
5. Purchases
Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the App whether Pro is active; we never see your payment details or Apple ID.
6. Children
The App is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
