🔌 No account, no internet
The app reads your station straight over Bluetooth. Nothing to sign in to, nothing that stops working when the router goes dark.
⏱ Runtime left
Battery %, watts in and out, and how long the battery will last at the current load, or how long until it's full while charging.
⚡ Grid lost / restored
When the station stops drawing from the wall, Outage Monitor tells you, and tells you again when power comes back.
🔒 On your lock screen
A Live Activity shows the battery and runtime left during an outage, plus widgets for your Home Screen and lock screen.
📈 Every outage, logged
Battery and power history, and a log of each outage: how long it lasted, how much battery it used, roughly how many watt-hours.
🎛 Outputs
Switch the AC, DC, USB and car outputs and the light. Every switch is confirmed by reading the station back.
Why a second app?
Power stations earn their keep during outages, which is exactly when Wi-Fi and the internet are likely to be down. Jackery's own app needs an account to set up. Outage Monitor was built for the outage itself: it needs nothing but Bluetooth and your phone.
How it works
- Turn the station on and open Outage Monitor near it.
- Tap Add Station. The app finds your Explorer over Bluetooth and sets itself up from the station's own signal. No pairing code, no login.
- That's it. Readings appear right away. If the Jackery app is open, close it first: a station talks to one app at a time.
Try it without a station: the app has a Demo Station that plays a simulated outage.
